this was a test crash to destruction on a new test facility, the van is laden with extra weight and run at a higher speed than normal, although I've seen some shocking pictures of VW buses and transporters in a horrible state after a front end impact, there really is no impact zone except for your knees

Scooby Boxer engine into VW camper seems to be quite a popular conversion. Don't think i would want to be in it though when when it hits something at over 100mph.

Better make sure your life insurance is up to spec and don't forget to tell the wife where your life policy is before you go out in it. Also, don't forget to carry a photo of yourself so rescue services can see what you used to look like
