bit of a long shot here

i'm trying to find a tap for my crankshaft, it's a 5/8 16 UNS this is a special size as it's half way between UNF and UNC. :?

if anyone knows where i can get one of these that'll be great :D i've tried local engineering companies and none of them have one.

Is it a specialist Mini bit or just something unusual? Maybe miniwilliams can help?

you could try the motor medic on sweetbrair ind est, ive known him for quite a while and he's been restoring his mini over the last year or so, maybe he could help you?give him a try, he's a good old boy
