A Team Van

Post by JonnyR »

Right everyone, time for something a bit diffrent....

I thought id introduce myself for what im known for; RANDOM projects.

I wont go posting up pics of everything ive done but ive created some strange vehicles, from a matt black belly scraper 2CV, to my favourite , the A TEAM VAN!

I would just like to make a clear point however, this is NOT my van, I just did all that you see in the pictures.

The van belongs to a (now) friend of mine, Jerome along with his brother Liam. They, like me, had always wanted to create a complete replica of the original van, and so when Jerome came to see me, my enthusiasm guaranteed me the job....

....several months later, the plain chevy day van with red velour interior, and chrome wheel trims became.....

THE A TEAM VAN!!!

And that really is Murdochs flight jacket hanging up in the back... :D

For anyone interested in hiring the van (with mandatory driver) for stag nights, weddings, parties etc... email a-teamvanheroes@hotmail.com for more info

Maybe id better just point out that I didnt actually make the van, i'll just briefly explain what I did.

It started as a plain chevy day van (same shell as the GMC panel van), I reshaped the bodykit to suit the running boards, painted the whole thing black, painted the grey, then painted the red, I did a whle lot more and it took a long time!

Jerome had the interior fully retrimmed in soft grey leather, and spent a lot of time and effort making the inside look right.

I actually finished my bit a year ago but has only recently been finished and ready for use.

I know its not really a BIGPOWER project but you dnt get to see the A team van for real very often... :)

Enjoy :D
