We can sort you out with membership on the day mate if nesc, Spence keeps a set of cards on him.

If you mean my coilovers, ie KWs, then I'm very pleased with them. Bit firm for road use but deffo gained me some time on the track. Had a play with the settings at Barkston at the end of the year and got the car where I wanted it (and a 51 sec lap on my old RE070s).

Not sure I want you to be on them tbh, you will deffo be faster!

Sorry Andy, I meant the other Andy's coilovers, 1/2 the price of the KW's :!: and with adjustable top mounts :!:

Remember, I am a Scotsman

Hi Logan,

Not fitted the coilovers and will be a few weeks yet...

I went for them because they're similar to but better than my old D2's, which worked well on my old WRX. KW's should have better quality damping, plus separate bump/rebound adjustment, but as you say they're twice the price. Apex are working really hard on these initial deals, basically to get a foot into the Impreza market.

Not sure if their next batch will be same price. May be worth seeing if they're doing any trackdays soon and getting a demo. They are genuine trackday/sprint enthusiasts and keen to demonstrate how their kit works on the track.

IIRC Andy has 6/5 kg/mm springs on his KWs, same as Apex have on their STi5 demo car. I have 5/4, same as I had on the old D2s after initially trying 6/4 which I found harsh on the road. Suspect these are all harder than your Whiteline springs but I may be wrong.

Andy

Can't remember what shakedown sprint requirements are but I got in on one of my clubs - TWMC or Brighton. Not too strict and cheap.

No classes just timed runs.

Peed down just about all day - cue 4WD FTD.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!

No worries Liam, any petrol engine with a turbo or supercharger get 40% added to their engine capacity.

Whereas a diseasel getting -40% off engine capacity I think.

Think there are 20 events in total, and the best 10 count.
