Just saying "Hi"

Post by K3FUS »

I have just joined up and thought I'd be sociable and say "Hi".

I live near North Walsham and a few people have mentioned the site so I looked it up and the rest is already history.

At bit about me:
I have always liked cars and mostly Vauxhalls (no laughing now)....some I have owned in the past

Astra GTE MK1 (2.0 16v turbo)

Calibra Turbo

Astra Coupe Turbo (current car)

Non Vauxhall
Mitsubishi FTO GPX (manual)

There's been a few others, but I'll keep them to myself

I spent 3 years working at Courtenay Turbo who tune Vauxhalls and now I'm back at NU pushing paper!

Looking forward to meeting a few people, hopefully at Snetterton on the 19th.

Still no replacement for the Scoob unless you count my E30 Road/Track car.

Just can't make up my mind what to get next?

Lisa is good just finished some exams, she is doing the novice trackday in June.

Have you used your cars on track? If not the novice evening is a great starting point and plenty of people about to give you advice.

Rob, I have never used my car, or any of the others, on track before. I'd join in this time, but funds are short due to other commitments in June.

I guess it's a problem finding a suitable replacement for the Scoob. What about a light weight, 2 seater, RWD car, like a Elise or VX220?
