My Astra Coupe Turbo

I have owned the coupe for 3 & 1/2 years now and I have taken it form a standard 200 bhp to close to 300 bhp.

Here's a "potted" version of the journey:

A standard car:

The engine work has mostly cosisted of upgrading the extranal components, the pistons and other inetrnals are stock:

Intercooler & turbo:

Air intake from:

To

Brakes:
322mm disks and bigger calipers:

The car is used as my daily transport, but funds allowing I'd love to do a track day some time soon.

Welcome to the forum Keith

Are you using more boost to get the extra power? Who does your tuning work.........I presume from the spec its the guys at Courtneys?

Yes more boost, but additonal cooling, exhaust etc all the normal tuning tricks.

Yes the guys at Courtenay did the work, I live 5 minutes away form them and used to work there.

The guys at Courtneys have a great rep and the mods sound well planned (more cooling to go with the boost etc)

We can certainly help you when you want to take the step into the trackday world if you need it.

Nice work on the spec. Hope to see it out on track with us at Snetterton. We have a low priced evening session at Snet next month if you are up for it.

You probally have as my coupe is an unusual colour for that model. Flash your lights so I know it's you next time you see me!
