Im at Donington this Saturday with Trakzone ,experienced places only are left ,145 quid full day .
Im also at Castle Combe on 19th May with trackmasters ,few places left ,155 quid full day .
Any of you guys booked on these?

im hoping to get to 1.25 lap at donny and 1.20 at combe.

well it was a crazy morning because of a couple of muppets really driving very dangerously ,one in a battered old purple cossie sierra and another in a black and white skyline,so many people complained about them they even made us all have another briefing but it made no odds they carried on bullying people out of the way and overtaking were and when they wanted without consent from the driver in front,they werent controlled either as they both had big offs .The purple cossie caught me up 2 or 3 times whilst i was warming up and i moved over before i was pushed out of the way but later in the day i saw him behind me so let him past again and then preceeded to sit behind him for a full lap just to prove that he wasnt actually very fast after all ,he couldnt handle someone keeping up so he forced a civic type r out of the way at 100 mph down craner curves and nearly caused an accident ,i just let him go ,shaking my head in disbelief,the civic driver was fuming and went and complained AGAIN but no action was taken AGAIN!!......however they seemed to either calm down or break down in the afto and then i started to relax a bit more ,build some confidence,find a bit of clear air and have some fun and get to grips with a few changes to my car.
Unbeleiveable amount of accidents for a public track day ,loads of offs and stoppages ,2 clios managed to come together ,apparently a 172 ran into the back of a v6 and they both ended up way off the track ,one in the gravel and one on the grass,the 172 driver was banned from the circuit apparently!.

Should have some good videos though ,i had some fun but safe little dices in the afternoon that should make some nice vids and ive watched 1 session and ive made my goal of 1.25 laps so im really over the moon with that. 8)

Nice write up Dave, surprised about the lack of control over those 2 drivers Donny is normally pretty good at dealing with bad drivers.
Great time by the way glad the antics of others didn't spoil your day

aaah not much of a write up ,more of a moan really,lmao ,no point describing my fun encounters on track ,the videos will show the action much better than i can explain.

absolutely stunning day at combe yesterday ,car was awesome and i made some consistent 1.19 laps ,really over the moon with that ,cars getting very quick now for a 210 bhp front driver. :twisted:
