I'm delighted that so many of you had a great time, I had a feeling this event would be popular but it's still great to get feedback like this :)

A massive thanks from me to George (Stop.......Go) and Gareth (3,2,1....Go)

I was impressed with how you both grabbed the event by the cobblers and got on with it :notworthy:
--------------------------------

Personal highlights of the night were

1)TK's Banzai runs. It is very obvious that you sprint now Trev. Commitment and outright speed in equal measure

2) SteveVR6 and the DubGen Golf. Completely maxed all the way around our circuit. Very quick

3) Iwant1 and his mental AX. So unlucky on his last run with a blistering 29 seconds...........only to clip a cone and suffer a five second penalty

Ross and his mad old school Lancer. Got faster and faster all night

Dan Booker and the Cerb. Looked every inch the getaway driver and great to see the TVR hustled that hard.

There were so many great moments overall. Out of all of the things we have done as a club so far, this was the one that has made me proudest so far.

Congrats guys. Great effort :thumb:

A really great evening :-D I'd never done anything like that before and was a little worried how the Golf would run, but was really pleased with the result.

A big thanks to Stu, George and Gareth for marshalling the event and making it run as smoothly as it did  and look forward to many more of these types of events.

.......I don't know if anyone had the same problem as me, but i'm sure those cones kept jumping out infront of my car :o :-D

Glad you chaps enjoyed it, thoroughly enjoyed starting and timing you guys.

The noise of some of the cars inc Lee's Citroen, Slartys M3 CSL, the Impreza boys, the Lancer and Corolla, BM boys and lady and the hoon mobile that is Dans TVR was just incredible !!!!! I am sure there are a few people needing new clutches and tyres soon though

Everyone did really well and it was great to see the times dropping as the night went on.

I havent seen an event where there have been queues and queues till the very end, sorry if any of you guys didnt get 1 last run.

Highlights for me are:
Seeing the looks on peoples faces when being told they had beaten the time by a minimum of 0.2 secs.

Watching the sometimes terrified look on the passengers faces

Jacko the 'cone grabber' coming sideways to the finish line !! :D

Overall a great event and am sure Stu and all of us will see about running another one again.
