jus got back from paul hills and result 968hp @8188rpm at roughly 2.4 bar we wanted to go higher boost but the wastegate wound right up only gave us a spike of 2.5 and then about 2.3 /2.4 need a heavier spring to get real boost going .all in all this was a good day with 750 hp at all 4 wheels without nos .we did a nos run but was far too rich on the fuel and i forgot to take my jets with me so we aborted the use of nos for another day .would have like to have seen the magic 1000 but thats for another day .we were up 41hp on last time .

Awesome results Mark. Quite what that must be like to drive is beyond me. When is the next outing for the car? It would be nice to get a load of us down to Santa Pod and support you and the guys.

Dyno stuff is cool, but there's nothing like seeing you launching full bore against the competition.

We need some drag racing events at the Pod or another established venue, to balance the site up a bit

broke the gear box at pod again at japshow and this is starting to be a problem and weak link so am speaking to mark jacobson at the moment from godzilla motorsport au as to what he uses in his 7 sec gtr32 .need to upgrade again so may be an os88 seq up for sale soon .ran a 9.4 at japshow then broke on next qualifer damm shame as they put me in the pro class now and i only had to beat one subaru to meet jonh bradshaw in the final ,never mind back to the workshop and take the box off again which now only takes me and yan about half an hour as we done it so many times .
it will be back better than ever !!

You and John in the final would have been a wonderful thing to see, hopefully you'll get another bite at the cherry soon. Like you say mate, at least you and Yan know how to get the box done so quickly now :lol:

as suspected got box out today and i have snapped the input shaft clean off ,this was in third gear so not a launch issue ,rekon we were pushing over 1000hp at this point ,box gone back to rb to be inspected and fixed all in alll the box ran for a total of 2.5 mins from last rebuild and done 3 runs .mega heh! big power skylines who wants one !

box fixed and back in again ,so ready to go we jus added a 4" side exit exhaust for drag strip too for good measure,sounds lovely.
