Yep....it's coming out slowly.

I just have to figure out how to remove the bloody blowers and then i can get to the rest of it. Then i can start removing the engine bay loom and pull it all back into the cab. Should hopefully all be out by tomorrow and then start on the new loom.

Subaru officially reckon they can do a full wiring loom in and out from scratch in 5hrs according to their book. I've never heard such utter shit in my life, and the service manager at my local stealership fully agreed.

Yep...all out including carpet and bits of plastic and that dirty great scaffold pole used as a front brace.

No wonder classic scooby's are so much lighter, they haven't got as much crap in to weigh them down but then again Gerry.....yours isn't as stiff as mine :D

You've just described a classic. Don't think that's where the newage is stiffened :D

Blower unit should just unbolt now. Once you drain the water and disconnect the heater hoses.

I've undone the bolts i can see but there is something else holding it back so i will investigate further tomorrow morning when my eyes aren't quite so bleary as they get towards the end of the day.

Hopefully i won't have to undo hoses if i can pull the blower forward enough to get to the very thick loom behind that's encased in that flat plastic tube.

If i do it won't make a lot of difference as i've had to remove just about everything else that's fitted in any case just to get to a simple bolt or screw that's totally hidden by everything else that's in the way.

What a polava!!

I knew there was a good reason I hadnt owned a Scoob,

Chocolate pistons
Blocks of butter
Never ending cambelt
Wiring done by Ray Charles Electrics Ltd

Apart from the earlier ones being lighter than a nuns fanny farts is there any redeeming features that owners are genuinely happy about, cos most the ones on here moan like feck !! :D :D :D

J.
I have issues !!! :ack2:....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!

Don't forget the plastic and metal bits designed by Ninja's that cut hands to shreds!!

Life isn't worth living unless there is something to moan about!!

That's why we buy scoobs!! :D
