cheers Ben :wink: well this is what i did;

1. degreased the wheel thoroughly,
2. then used a scotch brite pad and WD40 to cut more crap off,
3. then bought T-Cut alloy polisher and applied it with the drill + buffer wheel,
4. then i rinsed the wheel and brushed the grooves to get more crap out,
5. and finally i applied sovol autosol with muzzlin by hand for the final finish :grin:

worked out well hasn't it, can't wait to blast the centers and give them some paint and get my tyres too 8)

edit; another update, the seat's going back. it doesn't fit :roll:

cheers Duncan :) soon as the car's had it's brakes repaired the next big step is getting the doors off, stripping them down, then sending them off to be repaired, and when they come back, the whole car is off to the bodyshop and i'll be getting my poly windows 8)

lots of plans, and lots of money again :roll:

*update*
took the car to the garage yesterday and within half an hour they had the whole offside front in bits, the cast hub has gone eliptical, the bearings are knackered, and the CV joint has warped :o :roll:

so i've ordered a complete new hub assembly (machined hub casting, steering arm, top and bottom ball joints, bearngs, spacers, gaiters) and a new CV joint all built up at a mini specialist to ave time for
