I actually saw them this morning on the A11 just south of Snetterton, I was traveling in the opposite direction and of course I did my bit to make sure they didn't catch, well... a few unsuspecting motorists.

Stupid driving caused the accidents, not Plod looking for an easy nick. I saw a massive amount of Police on the roads this morning- these guys near Roudham, several 'safety' vans near Bury and a couple of bikes on the way out of Sudbury. None of them were sited near dangerous areas to the public. All on dead straight roads and no schools or anything else sensitive for miles.

yeh, it was rubbish driving but if the camera van wasnt there then those guys wouldnt have crashed. Your exactly right on the positions of these vans, how is placing a camera van on a straight dual carridgeway where there is no public risk helping anybody other than taking easy money from people. i have no problem with speed checks in built up areas and places where accidents caused by speed take place often.
