i have always had a soft spot for the mk1 4b and your celica i love those cars

Sierra Now sold

but money going towards making the celica go faster

Current work plan is,

Fit new oil filter re location kit, Get a Link G3 fitted and mapped along with bigger 560 injectors and an uprated fuel pump.

Will take some pics tomorrow as I get ready for the latest event in the TSS

Car looking quite mean all stickered up.

Sierra went to a nice bloke in Southampton who wanted to tow a Caravan! :oops:

I know I feel real bad, :oops: :oops:

I couldn't justify the running costs in the end, fuel costs were crazy and my celica was just sat still in the garage.

Cheers for the next round, spent all day on the car today, will post pics tomorrow.

Still up for popping over to ya when you got the time, really want to see the 4x4

i know what you mean about the running costs our 4b only gets 8mpg on full chat

defenetly have to pop over id like to see your celica i love that model.

Will post pics once all downloaded, but had a great time at the Second event.

I was far more competitve, with my brake problem sorted and the new boost controller bringing in power lower down the rev range.

In the morning, I was 4th fastest in class

but this did not quite last, try as I might I could not get any faster. I peaked with a 60.809, but also did 60.906 and 61.036 so I was at least consistant. I finished a good solid 8th in class and 19th out of 53, which leaves me joint 8th overall in my class.

I knew I was never going to be challenging to the top runners, the car is too much of a road car with full trim, I even ran with my accoustic shelf and amps in :oops: , but given that I am probably one of the lowest bhps of the GT4s racing I am really chuffed.

Def hook uo mate, she has developed an overheating issue, but hopefully will be an easy fix.

Will update the sprint section with full results.

**small update**

The Sierra is sold :oops:
Celica getting faster :twisted:
The funds have gone to a good home though.

I am getting a Haltech E6X stand alone Ecu fitted and Mapped ready for the end of the month, along with new bigger top feed injectors, prob 550s.

I have also got rid of the standard seats and replaced with two Cobra racing jobies, saving weight and hopefully holding me in place better.

Mucho weight saving is going on.. and best of all she passed her MOT without even an advisory

Fingers crossed that I can now up the boost from 0.98bar to 1.2 or 1.3 and improve both the power and Torque and the power delivery.

Couple of pics showing the new sponsor and while we had a very poor showing at the last sprint, in terms of results, at least the car was looking good 8)

Where do you get your car set up and dyno'd out of curiosity
