it's hard to imagine really how saturday at marham could be surpassed , we arrived at marham sunday morning pulled up to the gate " do you know where to go ".
i mentioned that we where here saturday and the guy took one look at the car " oh yes i remember you" erm which bit i wondered...
we parked up and signed in straight away to avoid the queue , said hello to fellow bigpower members gerry h , mjp , steve vr6, tommysti, bigbimma, 323i ian, lee ,
now what to do, i didn't fancy drifting too much as i have an open diff , i knew i had a bit more speed in the car as saturdays tyres fell short of the mark grip wise so
i decided to fit my 888 . which i have to say transformed the car perfectly enableling me to carry far more corner speed than saturday .
my first session i managed to follow bigbimma around but my straight line speed was no match for him but it was still great fun all the same .
thanks to steve for the pax lap in his golf , a nice predictable and capable little car .
the day went by without any problems for us and i have to say i am forming an emotional bond with my car the more i use it ( i'll soon be giving it a name ) ..
i would like to thank the bigpower team for organising this for us and the staff at raf marham which made a great weekend possible for everybody
cheers
jason

Thanks again to BP & RAF for organising another great Marham weekend.
I wonder if Ben's ears were burning at 8:00 Sunday morning. My passenger and pit crew, Darkstars AKA Tony, wasn't on the list
and it was only that the guy in charge of the main gate took pity on us, that Tony was allowed in. Good job he had his passport to hand. What a pleasant change to be dealt with by a NON Jobsworth :thumb:
Other than that and my newly, ebay aquired, Yoko A048 shod, Eike(sp) wheels not fitting properly, which meant I was on road tyres all day
it was a terrific day. The new engine with 500 running in miles and 1 bar boost limit felt good despite me, Miss Daisying it.
The afternoon's downpour made it very interesting, especially when the driver's side wiper became unattached from the arm. Poor visibility was reduced to zero and I had to stop out on track
Met some familiar and new people, which made the day even more enjoyable. Jason, Ian, Steve, Matt and a few who's names I can't remember  Apologies to the guy in the blue, newage Scooby wagon who came over, early on, to say hello and suggested pax rides.
Unfortunately, Tony's video camera decided to focus on the blobs of rain on the screen and nothing else  but he took quite a few stills, which he'll post up, hopefully.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
I was checking my phone for such emergencies .. I think Tony should give you the kicking though -Gerry H wrote:Thanks again to BP & RAF for organising another great Marham weekend.

Well that's odd! Tony swears blind he PMd his details to you.murano3 wrote: I was checking my phone for such emergencies .. I knew it ...
Maybe it's with the email/PM you sent to me, that I still haven't received.
The guy on the gate suggested, that for next time, confirmed attendee lists be posted on the sites. Sounds a good idea

I had a great day yesterday & the weather held up well. I had some great laps in the Cobra & took a fair few people round - some of them came back looking a little green too. Sorry I didn't take you out Stuart - August instead maybe?
Great to finally meet a few people & I had a great passenger ride in the Cosworth powered Westfield - now that's quick!
The Cobra sprang a little leak in its radiator early morning whilst out on the track, which was promptly sorted by an AA man's tube of metal putty. Fantastic stuff.
Glad to hear that the Midget driver is okay after rolling & hope that his car gets repaired soon & we see him at the next one.
Sadly, the Cobra broke down on the way to Marham Sunday morning - the fuel pump died (only a year old!) & we had to tow it back home. There was only one thing for it, the reliable & trustworthy "track Smart" came out of retirement & took me round Marham for most of the day. The torrential rain from early afternoon made things a lot more interesting for everyone & finally, after many, many tries, the Smart oversteered & did a gentle pirouette full throttle, in standing water & on those slippery white lines. I was so proud.
See you in August.

Well apart from the early morning confusion on the gate, what a great day with a wide variaty of cars, every thing from cheap classic to modern expensive but all with a common interest on track.
I had to laugh when they had the drivers meeting because the building was so packed about a third of the people stood outside unable to hear or see a thing.....oops! but apart from that the day seemed to go extremely smoothly and was very well organised.
Highlights for me were the passenger laps with Gerry

Well done as usual to all the organisers, here are some pics of what they made possible 8)
