Not been going that well for you recently ...

I always used to shear exhaust brackets on mine - no idea why either.

oh shit, i thought i completed my edit on that post :x

just to summerise the new bearings tat were put into the hub were the wrong thickness, which was pushing the disk against the caliper, it wasn't totaly obvious at the time but then it did make itself obvious when i too it out for a wash this morning :x

so back to square 1  this time i need to get the proper bearings for it.

A couple of days ago i bought an auto gauge rev counter from racer_pete on here and TMF  i decided to take it apart and make a new dial because i don't need the counter to go higher than 8k. whilst i was at it i sprayed the pod black and put my company logo on the dial face.

what do you think?

well what an eventful day today was!

the car went in for it's MOT and all it got was one advisory and that was to put some grease in the top offside ball joint :D so i'm mega pleased with that! kicked demon tweeks up the arse and now having my seat delivered tomorrow/friday. And also my second hand split rims arrived, the rims need a refurb and the centers to be repainted in gold but that gives me another little fun project to do 8)

the two tyres need dumping because they're bald and the center caps can go too because i don't need them. also the wheels themselves weigh absolutley sod all, much lighter than the ones on the mini at the moment :)

edit, i've stripped one wheel down this evening, ready for a degrease and sandblast :D
