A quick Maf (mas) sensor question. Is it correct that on a running engine, unplugging the maf will make the engine stall? If the maf is suspect the engine will continue to run? This is on a diesel car, not sure if that makes a difference.

Put a multimeter onto Ohms (resistance) setting and put each of the probes you have across two seperate terminals in the maf sensor plug end, depending on which MAF sensor you have depends on which two terminals. Then whilst you blow warm air from your breath into the MAF sensor intake watch the nesdle on the multimeter move. If it doesn't move then it's likely you have a faulty MAF.
