Slight update, in that the Turbo is rebuildable and being put together as we speak along with cleaning up of the mass of oil that was within it and the pipework/IC.
Sump has been off aswell to check the big end bearings and oil is being analysed for traces of bearings in there.
All good so far (apart from damage to the turbo bearings).
It will be back soon fingers crossed.

Oil was out of the dipstick because of either:
- me not putting the dipstick in correctly
- a quick amendment to the VTA catch can breather to try and stop oil coming out of the can causing excessive pressure and blowing the dipstick out
- some other issue
or a combination of all three. The dipstick is suprisingly easy to pop out on mine.
Either way, all issues that caused it will be solved.
Turbo - was either:
- lack of oil due to a lot of it in and around engine bay and not within the actual sump
- excessive heat soak on turbo from switching it off from full chat twice that day due to the IC hose popping off and switching it off when it the pits at the end due to very excessive oil smoke from the headers
or a combination of the two.
It will be fixed and luckily it is a rebuildable unit so not a major disaster.
