My day out

Post by Gooey »

Today I went with Big Fil, Max1 and Sneaky Pete to Santa Pod. I ll limit the words and let the pictures do the talking 8)

Arrived at Phil's house at some ridiculous hour in my Sh!tb0x Fiesta Runaround and jumped from one extreme of poverty spec car to Pure luxury, I so love this Landy.

Arrived at Pod and was surprised to see it so empty.

The main reason we were at Pod was to watch Mark (Max1) run his skyline.

Few more of Mark running his car, I didnt get/many any burnout pics or of him launching as I was videoing it

Pic I thought I would take thinking ppl on here may appreciate it

We left Pod around 2.15 after seeing Mark match his previous best time of 9.3 although we got a phone call later on to say he had run a 9.2 second quarter :o :o :o :o

We made our way over to Hauser racing so Fil could stop stressing and finally pick up his car :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

It really is a work of Art and is simply awe inspiring in the flesh 8) 8) 8) 8)

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

That was great. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Mark and his ongoing plans for world domination :D

I had to show Tan (The Mrs) the pictures of Fils car on the trailer.....fantastic to see that taking shape and I've been boring her silly about a few of the long term projects as a way of making my own recently ditched project make sense.

Well done to Mark for a great time and well done to Fil also for the steady progress at an awesome standard.

Great write up Gooey. Thanks for making the effort.
