rear visibility at trackdays

Post by boucherie »

Just a quick question really, im currently in the process of getting some grp panels made up and as such they car being moulded with the glass still in the frame.

Once the mould is done then id need to cut out around the frame to fit new glass/perspex but what im wondering is, can you run a car on a trackday with no visibility directly out of the rear window, ie only use your wing mirrors? This would be similar to driving a van around the track, although my car is no van before anyone starts!!

Im hoping to get my parts covered in carbon as well so think it could look quite cool with a carboned rear end!!

Not sure on this, but just out of interest on bike track days you're told to fold in mirrors so you're not distracted by what's happening behind you.

You'll be fine with your wing mirrors mate.
