STi Time Attack 2008 - new dyno figures !!
A day for heroes.
after being offered an ecu to borrow this morning by Budgie on here (huge thank you's) and picking it up from him at some kind of jap car meet at Birchanger Services, I fitted it this afternoon. For someone that I dont know nor have ever met/spoken with, to offer this is overwhelming. :notworthy:
It didnt work, but then I was expecting that as the ECU and the Immobiliser need pairing to get it to fire up.
So, needed to get the car to a Subaru dealer for this (nearest one is Bury St Edmonds) or an Ecutek dealer for them to pair it. Paul at Zen is buried under preparation for their car for Time Attack and was looking very unlikely that he would be able to get out here again to sort me out, I was therefore looking to get the car trailered over to Zen.
Then, out of the blue Simon (Jolly Green Monster) steps up and offers to pop in tomorrow whilst he is in Cambridge mapping (normally he is down in kent) - what's the chances of that ???
Someone is smiling on me today - cheers whoever you are up there
