with the marham track day coming up and the surface being slightly more abrasive by all accounts, i managed

to purchase these wheels from a well known auction site , i have a couple of 17" sets of tyres already but had no

rims . these look to fit the bill perhaps a bit too well :roll:

OEM wheels are often of a better quality than cheap aftermarket ones so they may be stronger and lighter in my opinion. They look great Jason. Just get rid of that spoiler before the day.......it will destroy your top speed on the long straights mate.

here's a brief overview of my camera installation;

had to fit this little lot which at first looked straight forward until i connected all the wires together

Image

the camera came with some suction mounts which after exploring various locations within the car i deceided to use the clamps
on a custom made bracket.

i managed to tidy the wiring and made a bracket to hold the recorder on the dash

the only real teething issue was the power supply , which i will hard wire in .

Excellent - also think the car looks great on those wheels !!! ... it's amazing how a set of wheels can effect a car's look so much.

well the sun was shining for a change so i got the car outside and started on some little tidying jobs :roll:
removed some excess wiring and alarm and guess what ... it won't start now :x sounds like the fuel pump is the problem :roll:
tried reading a wiring diagram then gave up and started to remove the sound deadening from inside the car and removed the
bonnet ready for the fibreglass one which should be here next week :wink: i think i will go and get a haynes manual and see what that can tell me .

Good job. Re the sound deadening, did you use an electric heatgun or gas? I don't want to get it wrong e.g. gas, and kill myself with fumes!
