I think its great that you have something dfferent - ie a Lexus

I think its great you want to take them on track

But I am really sorry, I just dont get the point of taking what are already known as incredibly heavy luxury cars into an area they have no hope of doing anything in except get in the way. If they were completely stripped then I guess I can understand it as a "something dfferent entry" and if they had real power then I love the "standard spec car with a big stick and much zoom" style approach, but to have neither power, weight nor a starting point of sports credentials just seems pointless.

I'd say exactly the same if someone entered an XK8 or a Merc CLS500.

A Hamann twin turbo CL600 or Gemballa GTR650 Cayenne would make more sense to me.

Best of luck with it though, please dont think Im just trying to be nasty, I love being different - I dont have a choice LOLOL !!!

Horses for courses.

The new IS is not like a LS so about same weight as a BMW 3 series

Power is OK torque is excellent

Chassis as is is fine but am working on making it better with ARB's chassis braces etc

got a BBK on way and a set of manifolds which will give approx 30 more gee gees

best thing is I can watch TV as I trundle round

Nice work Dave - it was a weird day's weather and a learning experience for us all on so many new setups. Look like progress has been made and a plan formulated for KH :thumb:
