He will, but he will also want paying a large sum of money. Motec is the solution to a lot of issues but will create quite a few other ones of a financial nature.

I am going to get the ecu ecuteked to at least get it working and deal with the future after Donington another time.

Thanks Phil but I think I will go with the quick and easy solution for Donington then review where I am after that. That looks a great ecu though and cheers for the offer.

Top chap - heading over here tomorrow afternoon to flash an ecutek version of my map onto to the ECU to bring it back to life :D

However...it begs the question...from a fellow mappers point of view....

Combination of things:

1) was in a hurry
2) was using mac for the first time with windows in Parallels
3) it could not recover itself which it has done every other time there has been a writing error when using PC

It may have been the fact of using it within parallels that caused a blip or it caused have just been god saying he hates me :lol:
