So far it is:

1. Motec - can be got, mapped and installed in time but plenty of wonga (would ultimately be the best solution)
2. New Ecu from Subaru -

Duncan, it may be worth you speaking VERY nicely to Andrew Mercer at East Coast Customs, tell him i sent you, i am pretty certian he was running an M800 on his hawkeye STi last year at TOTB, which included the drive by wire.

It may be worth asking if you could borrow, maybe on agreement you buy one from them?

or speak to Olly at RCMS nicely, and ask if they could maybe persuade David Rowe to lend you an M800

Just bite the bullet and go MoTec.

Hydra has very nice software, so not sure where you got that from? Also several mappers who can do them.

Steve: AFAIK Andrew isn't with ECC anymore.

This may well be happening but for the time being I need a quick fix and cant afford to shell out for Motec within the next few weeks.

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.
