Its all a bit trial and error I suspect,

A bit like taking a sharp turn in the wet on changing surfaces when under time constraints !!

Is it possible to hook one of these cams up to a laptop like you would a webcam so you could line up the shot??

I noticed with this cam there is a video lead with RCA connectors and a USB cable too.

We put a small mark in tipex on the top of ours, making it easy to set up everytime
