Hi guys and girls

Well... i've had my scooby for about 7 months now, and i'm loving it  . I've been on a couple of regional subaru owners clubs for a while and i thought it was about time i joined another similar site. So here i am on Big Power as i am now keen on making a few more performance mods and then get my car on the track to see what it can do.

I bought it unmodified as a standard 2003 STi, in December i added the PPP and i'm now looking for a bit more power, i've recently replaced the standard air intake with a new one i fashioned from a WRX fog light surround, feeding a green cotton filter within the standard airbox. I'm guessing my next step would be to replace the turbo and injectors, maybe a bigger fuel pump - i'm already saving up! :-D I'm not hunting for a particular figure - just somewhere in the region of 350-400 bhp with torque to match.

It was on the rolling road last week and produced 300bhp (engine) and 280ftlb, so i've got a little way to go......

BTW - great site guys.

Hi Adam, welcome to Bigpower. How much experience do you have on the track as we have a track virgin's evening lined up in June which could be a good intro for you?

If you have a dyno print out to back up your claims that would be great, as we're all about being free of bullshit here and it's always good to have a look at torque curves

Look forward to seeing the car develop, there are plenty of knowledgeable people here so feel free to ask any questions :)

Hope to see you at a meet some time soon

Welcome to Big Power,
as George says, the virgins event is very good and a great way to get your car out on the track without the pressure of a regular trackday.

Nice car !!

Welcome Adam. Another Scooby hey, :D

I bet you can't wait to get it out on the track. We have several track days coming up and as others have said if you haven't been on track before, the virgins event is a great way to start.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Hi and welcome to BP :)
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
