Gerry i think they came with covers Std
And the driver /fog option was 600 odd quid option! the lights where PIA motor sport aproved hence the cost
The club have had them remade to ease the cost as they where obsolete at one point :o

Question is Gerry will Logan keep the 6 or go back to the RA :-D

That's the $64,000 question Liam, that we're all waiting an answer on.Will he won't he? Should he shouldn't he? :D

IMO and fwiw, if someone was faced with which car to choose, without having either marque before, I'd suggest they went for the Evo. I'm sure most people would agree it's a better package from OE. However, after all the time, effort and money that's gone into the RA, it's a very tough decision to just chuck it in and switch allegiance. The RA is a lovely car and very nicely turned out. There may be issues with it having a roll cage though and, if it's anything like mine, it isn't going to be easy removing the brackets and disguising the evidence. It would need to find the right buyer to get what it's worth and we all know the likelihood of that happening, very slim.

So that leaves, does he sell the Evo because it'll be the easier to shift?

Not an easy one to call :)

All valid points chaps.

And basically the same issues I have been thinking through!

Basically I shouldn't of bought the Evo, then I would be none the wiser! And also trying to keep a level head about how much I am enjoying teh Evo, as its a new toy at the moment.

Now I'm selling Impreza bits to feed my Evo habit....oh dear...I'm like an addict getting more and more addicted. How long is it before I really start on the hard stuff :?: :?:

Whatever you do, you'll regret it. Your only sensible solution is to keep both, then your only decisions will be food based.

Can I afford to eat, this week, or not? :D

Agree with all that's been said about Longcross - a real challenge but proper scary and as quick as I have been at a sprint. How's 130mph across finish? Guy that won class and FTD reckons he hits 150 in dry...

Long left in wet at 120-plus really had me worried as it started to drift up to trees.

Reckon I would have got closer to winner if dry run had been last not the the third.

Best result is we all drove home in one piece...

Hope to put in-car on YouTube this week. Bouley Bay hillclimb went up last week.

The light are 600 per pair but still :o the Club ones are 70 a piece to replace so all good news.
The Evo will require more service every 4.5K but i guess you guys pushing hard in the Impreza service more regular than a road car?? so perhaps not to difrerent.

With investment in the RA it is a tough choice as you say Gerry. Hey Logan if you was starting over and owned just one which would it be? Then work out how to keep the cost as low as you can :-D

Lets face it, they are all cheap Japanese saloons :D
There all great fun..... But they all break regularly :(

That looks like a nice VI you have there Logan. The Evo long term will be cheaper to tune and much easier to maintain. But I am bias :D

I will have a forged 2.3 ready for you in a couple of weeks :-D .

Yup, most of the course needed big commitment to go fast. Not a place to go silly in a new car for me.

That Cossie was proper quick. another 20mph over the finish line is some speed difference. I look forward to seeing your in car footage Kim. Is your friend Chris going to put up his quick vids he took of us on the hairpin. Or can he e-mail them?

I ordered some Preformance Friction pads at lunch, hopefully see an improvement.
