Well done that man :) First aid is one of those things you do, never think about and something I am glad I get trained through work! You never know when you're going to need it and what you can actually do for someone just by doing the simplest of things!

I don't believe some people. A day after having a close call the member was back in the swimming pool :o . Once Alan found out that rgey were in he went down to the pool and asked them to get out of the water for their own safety. Umfortunatly as they got out of the pool and into the wheelchair they collapsed, with the brakes on the chair off.
Al manged to stop the chair from rolling into the pool and then managed to bring the round and kept them stable until paramedics could get there.

Alan is understandably very shaken up by this and will be leaving work early as soon as cover for him can get in. Whilst I was on the phone to him I heard reception call him over the walkie talkie for some emergency and i also heard them say that security had been called. This was an hour ago and I still haven't heard from him.

He's very shaken up at the moment, he was talking about getting a taxi home from work instead of driving.
I think he'll be a bit of a mess, emotionally, later but thats what his girlfriend for. I'll just take the piss out of him tomorrow.
