What are people using in there transfer and gearbox and where from?

Lee found this on the MLR

Gearbox 2.2litres 6 speed (2.8 for five speed)
transfer box 0.6 litres
rear diff 0.55
Used silkolene syn 5 for all of the above and for the ayc torque transfer part of the diff used genuine ayc fluid 0.6litres.

Heard very mixed views about silk although that is what was originally recommended to me by others?

i use silkolene syn 5 in the skyline and used it in the mazda so does ian i think, and has been good.

Endless 6 Pots
Nismo Z-Tune Plenum

personally never got on with syn5 although i know quite a few peeps that use it, we would pretty much always use CRX75w90 from millers
ASPerformance
distributors for PIAA, EXE-TC, PERF. FRICTION, PAGID, FERODO RACING,
MOTUL & MILLERS OILS,
and the list goes on...............

I use Redline Heavy Shockproof in my gearbox it's excellent, and you can use it in the diff too unless you have an LSD in which case you have to use 75W90 type oil and no friction eliminators.
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!! :rant:
