Yay, I have an MOT! I also have a clonking front coilover :( Research suggests either the preloads not enough or the tops not done up properly so a little fettling and its off for 4 wheel alignment this week hopefully! Bout time too, just as well i havent got a deadline like the time attack peeps.

Well, been to Autotest today and the suspensions gone from this:

to this:

Sorted! But what do the 0.7 and 1.4 mean? Anyone?

The front camber is over manufacturers spec, but thats the least camber I can run with the longer s14 lower arms. Perfect for trackdays anyway, so says Mr Autotest :) So I'm happy.

The clonking front coilovers still remain however, Autotest had a go but oddly theres a nut on top thats tight but the washer below is moving :wack: requires further research.

Clonking solved, I have a fully sorted car again!

Now just need a bigger BMC, any BGW and stiffer ARBs acronyms here we come!

After a bit of time off to let the bank balance recover i now have
A gReddy profec B spec 2 Boost Controller.
A Pair of whiteline ARBS
and an Apex catch can all fitted.

The profec does exactly what it says on the tin, took about 30 mins to fit and the same again to set up, simple as, works perfectly.

The ARBs, wow! what a difference I thought with coilovers already they wouldnt make so much difference, but they've sharpened the handling up loads, the cars really pointy now, like a go kart. Brilliant.

The catchcan.... hmmm i think my first stab at a breather pipework might need a little tweaking, the can and the pipe in is scary close to the throttle linkage I shudder to think what would happen if that got stuck open :o

Pics to follow, possibly when i have a less suicidal breather pipe layout :-D
