What a mixed day. Sounds like everything worked out for the best for Team TNT and yet Vectraman clearly got mugged by the anti-noise massive. The rules are clear though so I guess it really is rough justice.

The thing in my mind about noise limits is that they will tumble down in the future becoming more and more heavily controlled. This will follow at circuits around the country. As more pressure is placed upon the circuits to become more environmentally friendly, they will be allowed to run fewer noisy days and those few noisy days will be reserved for the big money spinning race events, not trackdays for Johnny Punter.

We will all have to adapt our cars if we are to pursue this hobby of ours. Guys like Frayz have been shrewd enough to buy a decent free flowing system that is very quiet and monies permitting, I will follow suit. It may be the best investment I can make to ensure I can arrive and drive at any UK circuit.

Sorry for the digression.

what a day at bedford it was really fun and what can i say about the track err WHAT A BLOODY TRACK it has everything
you could ever want. i shell be looking to go back again :-D

one of the highlights of the day was seeing nige doing a lovely 180 spin just in front of me, fair play mate it looked spectaculer

testing the new parts was a great sucsess, the new front suspention is a possitive move the car felt really good
in the bends and the direction change is very respensive and quick so less steering input needed.
As for the undertry yes it did break but this is all part of testing, the half lap i did with it before it snapped
was incorraging i carnt really put it into words how it felt but the front felt planted

Hi vectraman really gutted that you got black flagged and good to see you and a big MASSIVE thanks for the picture
i love it :-D the girlfriends pics are coming off the wall and thats going up

I agree, OK, its not the Ring or Cadwell, but it is a technical circuit in places and a 1km straight for the power boys to leave us low power guys gasping.. I shall also be returning :-D

you were well placed for a view of my moment..

Approaching the braking zone, the rear locked and around I went...

I know what happened, but at the end of the day, I was rushing to get back on track and forgot to adjust the rear bias properly.
The corner caught out a few others, although not as spectacularly as me :-D

Louise only managed to get a few decent photos of you, not really sure why. Sorry about that..

As you say, once at the track, the best laid plans for speaking to people go out the window and you just try and get as much track time as possible !

Great vids and pics guys - certainly looks like a good track - shame that soon only standard cars will be able to use it as everything else will be too loud !!!!

You`d be suprised. There were some loud cars on there, 87.5db driveby is LOUD, you could certainly tell the difference between the ones that were very loud and all the others when they went past the pits.

I understand what you are saying, I thought the same, but after listening to the volume some of the cars achieved who were driving all day, it made me realise the limit isnt quite as low as you may think...
