To cut a VERY long story short............

I have owned this car since 2000 and it has been through all different kinds of finishes! Show car, track car and now drag car.

I bought it as a stock car except for wheels, end of 2000

June 2001 it came out like this

few years later......

Then it became a track car with 5 spd straight cut box and approx 460fwhp.

Then after 5 years of engine failures, numerous front cover features i decided to cut it up and turn it into what it is today.

My aim with it now is to get it into the 8's on the quarter and have some fun with it.It feels like the last 7 years have been a constant battle with it, i have thought about giving up many times. I'm still here fighting on and intend to show people that rotaries are a force to be reckoned with.............

I will say it again ... wow. Nice work with the car - that is one heck of a journey.

8 seconds is a great goal - what is your best time/terminal so far, you cant be far off that?

So far the car has only ran 10 times so we are still in the early stages.

So far a 12.7 @ 121 mph but thats running approx half the power potential. Also because i am using an automatic transmission we cannot get the engine to rev on the line.Big port rotaries do not have much torque low down so the engine struggles to rev as it has to turn the box also.Ideal answer is a clutchless transmission like a G Force or Jerrico but thats approx

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.
