Well this evening proved productive, the knuckles/hub carriers are off the car:

They're off Yaks time attack car, I think he's got some mahoosive K-Sport brakes now and they wouldn't fit over the calipers.

What are you trying to press out of the hub mate? If it was any help i could use the 50 tonne press at work in my lunch break?
Could have leant you a socket also if i had read this earlier.

Keep up the good work mate, coming on nicely but you need to give the underneath of your car a good clean! :wink:

Just spoken to Kate and we are on for Saturday :D also if you need the Hubs taken up norwich i could do it for you as with me working there :)

Cheers for the offer, but this evening with the hubs and carriers off the car and held steady in a vice a few good wacks with a wide bladed chisel and a lump hammer got them out with no messing, all ready for a good clean and paint before reassembly sturday, providing the weathers good to me.

Yeah it does need a bit of attention all round cosmetically, once the suspension and brakes are done and shes through the MOT a good few hours will be spent with a wire brush some stonechip and underseal.
