Donny Show Club Stand

Post by Dill »

Hi all, as mentioned in the track time thread, we are planning to have an area set aside as a club stand. This is open to anyone regardless of track time or not, and a mix of track and non-track goers would be more beneficial to overall security of cars there.

Initially we just want an area (not in general parking) to put cars in between track time, and this will be getting booked next week taking note of the numbers on this thread and a similar (abrupt  ) thread on sox-japoc.

If anyone is taking a gazebo (or anything that takes up space other than car) etc, then let me know by your name below as organisers need to know size of each stand, if possible we will try and get on the hard standing close to the paddock and EDC and Pro TA cars.

If anyone would like to take this on as a 'proper' BP/sox stand (I'm thinking, motherly type, blonde, big buzzomed, good cook etc  ) with a gaezebo, place for kids to sit, BBQ etc then you're more than welcome to 'elaborate' on the basic stand area we will have. I will not be booking any tickets for this, you will have to do this yourself, TA competitors should have weekend passes but this is not yet confirmed.

Good point!

I was going to do it just for the Sunday.

If anyone wants it for Sunday too please let me know and we can work out how much space is required for the Sunday.

Right, doesn't look like this is going to work unless anyones to pay 30 quid for the privilege of putting their can on a stand.

Anyone paying separately for their tickets would be able to get on a stand 'free of charge'.

Any tickets that are given to us from Time Attack (TA hereafter) aren't classed as 'proper' tickets and only allow show access and no privilege to a stand

If we get weekend tickets through TA, all well and good, but apparantly these won't allow us to the area where the club stands are, so a weekend club car pass is required 30 GBP per driver then extra for passengers.
There is no 1 day pass, just one price for all.

Its a kick in the balls TBH that we've paid already for the show, then would have to pay again.

I will contact TA and see if they can sort something out, but at the moment I won't be doing this now, and expect most others not too as well, please annotate by name.

Sorry for inconvenience
