Bored of the impreza.... pining for another Cossie

Post by frayz »

Cant help it guys.

I love my car and how far ive bought it along the modding journey. But i keep finding myself trawling Passionford and pistonheads for cossies.

Im looking at either a 3door or an escort.

My mates tell me i shouldnt sell and to finish my current project.

They say i wont be happy because the memories of my last one wont be the same. They say its a backwards step and not forwards.

What do you guys think?

I know my scooby is fundementally a better car but it just doenst tug at my heart strings the way the cossies do.

Am i mad?

Heres my impreza if you dony know it already... i dont even know if there would be much interest in it either.

Sell it and folow your heart....
Modding a cars is one thing, but you need to find a conection with it first.
If that's not a scoob, then move on to something that does.
Really doesn't matter if technicaly thats a stepo back as long as its your chouce of car...
and as many of us know a car choice is based on looks, drive, style and more often than not child hood fantasies....
Take regular exercise, walk to you car!

The Escort is very nice plan on having one at some point. I would agree follow your heart before you chuck so much money into it your you cant turn back.

The Sierra, in your first pic is looking very dated but the Escort looks lush.

Then again, so does your Scooby.

Yeh it's difficult - I agree with Gerry on the Sierra, still love Escort Cossie's - always will.

but your scoob is a mighty fine looking machine.

I prefer the Sierra 8) but each to their own

I'm sure whatever you choose you will turn it into a fantastic track weapon and a car that will be desired by many of us!
