So, it goes a bit like this:

Join HCC
Get your MSA Nonrace B
Buy overalls and helmet
Wait for registration form to come through the post??? (or do we have to sign up somewhere?)
fill out reg form, send off with money for entry (is entry money per event or for the championship, also any ideas how much?)
keep an eye on dates
turn up at first event and do what everyone else is doing

Couple more questions

Do we have to get our own numbers from somewhere, or just ensure the numbers we are sent are the right ones?

How many rounds are there in just the JISC? (it seems to me that lots of sprints are run countrywide but by different groups and count towards different things?)

are there any prizes for winners or is it just a for fun event?

Wil we be supplied with a timing bar or do we have to buy/make one? anyone have pictures of them as i've no idea what they look like?

thanks for the help and guides guys, your all stars. I've not been on this forum long but IMO it's definately one of the most helpful and welcoming e-communities i've had the pleasure of being a part of for...well, ever! Keep up the good work, we are all very much gratefulness :)

YES

Regs. should arrive in good time for the event You'll be signed up for JISC so you should autoatically receive each set of regs. as they're released during the year.

fill out reg form, send off with money for entry (is entry money per event or for the championship, also any ideas how much?)
Each event is treated individually so entry fee is sent with each form. Cost varies a little but usually

Works fine for me. :-D

I find a re-boot helps when I get these sort of problems. Or just a plain kick up the ar$e at other times :D

If that doesn't work, let me have your email and I'll send the .pdfs to you.

Have you tried on-line application?

Ive just looked at my national B license and on the form it makes out like you have to have a medical if youve never provided a report to them before? Is this true?

Its on the bit at the top of page 2 if you wan tto see it.

They can only 'recommend' that you have a medical, it's not a necessity for this grade of licence.

Not long to go now.

if i can get my car all sorted out and ready , how do you go about entering ?
hcc membership is being sent of at the same time as my license today so should be all go , things needed to do on car is , timing strut, rear discs/pads , stainless hoses, fluid change, fuel pump, set up on rollers,
these are the essential bits , also on the look out for a knocklink or similar
so probably about another
