We need a meeting to get this all sorted out ASAP.

OK here we go Le Mans 2008

I have asked for an allocation of ticket like 07 but after chasing them today they say it will be March/April before i receive it :?
I have asked why so late and am waiting for a reply. So sorry for anyone wanting to go that was waiting on my allocation.
This Year i am going but a am traveling with the Evo guys as part of an MLR package with Speed Chills http://www.speedchills.com Which any one can book through but the MLR have done a club deal with enclosed parking. For reference Speed Chills site was quite close to those that traveled last year the Farm House site just down from us last year.
It may be possible to arrange similar for Big Power if there is a demand Speed Chills are doing something called Camp Creations where you can camp at the Speed Chills Site.

Cheers Liam

In which case, a BigPower run needs to be organised soon. If there is no takers or a low take up, I will be looking to go anyway and organise my own passses etc. But needs to be asap.

Dont you think you will lose the 'spirit of le mans' if you camp with an organised tour Liam mate? :-D
Dont you remember we was all taking the piss out of the organised tours last year, i can imagine you in one of the concentration camp tents now! :D

Le Mans 2008 is not looking too good for me at the moment, my friends who i went with last year are not sure they will be going and as much as i hate it i know i cant take my car without anyone sharing the cost with me so at the moment it is looking a no go for me.

Ian you a right i think the sad twxxs in the little compounds arriving on a bus is lacking the Spirit!!
I guess you have not checked Speed Chills out??

What they do is give you a crossing an entry ticket and via camp creations a camping spot
All close to our spot last year. The area is members only for this you get chilled beer at the bar, good bites to eat and bands DJ etc over the week end. Should it rain a place in the dry if it is hot some shade.

The camping is a secure spot which might appeal to some polishers  i know
But you drive down with your mates take your own gear and do your own thing, the only difference is you have a British run bar in your camp site with all the trimmings :-D

Nick i see no reason why Big Power or your self can not book a deal with Chills they reserve the camping spot so even if folk arrive at various times you will all be together.
Or you can wait until tickets are allocated and have what you need from me (subject to me getting them) and play the tour like we did last year.
I am happy to help either way had a ball last year with you all and look forward to this year.

To be honest Liam i didnt throughly read the site as i just presumed it was an organised trip.
Now you have explained it it sounds very apealing as it means less equipment to carry in the cars and a secure place to park.

Who is going with you this year? Benny, David??
Would it be possible to tag along with you guys with the Evo's, are you sure you could handle a Skyline in the ranks? :D

Was the most fun i had in a weekend last year, really want to get along again this year.

Im sure this year is due some good weather also.

Ian i have helped organize the MLR deal but if you book onto same crossings no reason why we cant all travel together
And if you book camping with Chills then you would be able to camp in the same spot too :-D
I am looking to travel on the 8.45am crossing Thursday morning wanted to have time for the trip and route 34 :-D :-D
David is coming with me and Benny has not committed yet he may well be married to his work desk by then he has not been seen for months :-({|=

Liam

Edited to add Skyline in the ranks is cool as long as it dont rain :o then you drive like miss daisy

Not to worry, the rest of us are now sorted; it's a shame that the same group were not all going together as we had said after last year.

I guess Ian is still undecided?
