Cage looks great with some really nice details. Well done Ross :thumb:

* Try and sort the dash layout though......looks a bit cluttered :wack:

Doesn't bolting all that metal to the underside of the boot lid defeat the object, I can't see it being much lighter than the standard boot lid with all that lot bolted up :? .

Still a very nice project though 8) .

The OEM Evo boot lid weighs (I dont know how much) a lot.
The bracing is only to prevent the GT style wing from ripping the carbon boot lid off off. There is still a major net reduction in weight as the tube that is used for the bracing is 1.3mm wall.

I'll take your word for it Ross :wink: , I can't wait to see more progress pics :grin: .

Looks like a lot of time/money and good planning goes into this kind of build 8) .

Getting there now. All sound proofing removed at the weekend :grin:

Shes now at the body shop ready for paint :D ...

All new harness points installed.
