i managed craner at just over 100 with both rear suspension arms loose ;)

should be abel to pull a bit more through it now, but the key is to settle the car before braking for the old hairpin. Use the cars mechanical grip to keep it on the road through the bends though....cos its downhill, the car becomes a lot heavier at the bottom so grip is increased...

Aye, the guy who was running the day turned up while I was still wandering around in the gravel trap saying "You lucky, lucky bastard!".. which I was true for not ending up on my roof!

Did it make me behave myself more then year after in TA... er no I was still going sideway round craners at more speed... but I didnt fall off that year :D

Now that the carbon sheeting has arrived, time to make a bulkhead behind the rear seats.

Although this wont be fully fire tight as there are numerous other holes fittings that would need to be removed such as the rear selt mechanisms (what are staying for the moment) it will help reduce some of the noise of having an open boot at events and besides which it will looked darned sexy :D ... well if I do it right it will :?

First off:

Take some big sheeting. For this I got a 2 sqm sheet from our boys at CarbonMods.co.uk - great service and pricing again !

Then, remove the rear seats and make a template for the offending area from the cardboard box that the sheets came in:

Template made, now for cutting....

Second instalment later on (please god dont break the sheet :D )

Why don't you just leave the cardboard in place, gotta be lighter than the carbon sheet  I would be crapping myself right now at the thought of cutting up that sheet. Easy does it :o

Excellent thread by the way, am eagerly looking forward to seeing the finished product. Get cracking please!! :D
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!
