bmw e36 track project
that is a nice rear wing you have there 8)
may i surgest that when you do your first track day with the car put it on the lowest setting and take it out then put it on the highest setting and do the same again seeing if you can feel any difference in the handling of the car.
once you have found a good setting you like slightly increase the angle and add a front splitter to the car, maybe a M3 one as that has a splitter built into it and this may give you quicker cornering speeds.
as we found out with our had good down force at the front with the splitter but nothing at the back so got the spoiler and its great now to drive cornering speeds are up :-D

thanks for the comments guys . alan its good to here how other people have gone about "testing " products and the results they have acheived cheers.
i was basicly working on the principle that most of my weight reduction has been rearward in the car thus it possibly needing
a little more push down into the black stuff , i was also thinking of making a couple more end plates and run it in a single wing set up to start with just so i don't create too much drag .
cheers

Looking good Jason.
Very interested to see what difference all your suspension mods have made.
Nothing wrong with those DTM mirrors, i have them on my M3. After all what doea DTM stand for! They weigh nothing compared to the standard heated/electric ones. All helps to get the centre of gravity down

here's an update on the latest mods ;
bought some eibach suspension

needed a new battery anyway so purchased one of these and saved 11kgs ,

whilst at the autosport show had a little purchase

having removed the sunroof i had to make good the hole , i was originally going to paint the roof black but whilst it was primed i
changed my mined and went for white .i also repaired the damage on the rear quarter just to make it less of a shed.

i didn't do a proper alignment as i didn't have time and also i am going to fit adjustable top mounts on the front so it would need
doing again anyway so i took it to my local tyre place which basicly got my wheels pointing in the right direction and done the
best with what equipment they had .
i have to say that i am chuffed to bits at the results that i have achieved and will now move forward at a more sensible pace .

also aquired this " waste not want not"

next few jobs ; adjustable top mounts
quick shift
fit new bumper assy
cheers
