The car stayed like this for a while as a road car, went on my 2nd ever track day, rolling road days and to a couple of car shows...

(the car was too loud so they would only let me do about 10 laps)

I remember seeing the first picture, the one outside your garage with the Professors fitted, on gtr.co.uk

I love that picture..just something about it.

Thanks for the insight George :thumb:

George am i right in thinking when your car was imported you had 2540s on it?

Did you ever dyno the car with those on?

Love your car .. the pic in front of the garage - I remember seeing that for the first time and thinking HARDCORE ...

Lovely looking machine, I was worried for a second when I thought you may have swapped out the wheels for those black ones ...

Thanks guys, the garage pic is awesome isn't it, thats the insperation behind me painting the carbon bonnet silver! The car did come from Japan with the 2540's yes I dyno'd it at The Racing Line and it made about 480ATF. The engine was built by Feast in Japan and has run faultless ever since. I had a few issues in Time Attack with an actuator bracket breaking at Donnington, fueling & a bad missfire at Silverstone and the gearbox at Brands hatch all of which cost me my position. Also had a problem with the box at Santa pod cost me a place in the final. Thats motorsport though!!

A little more development and a new map and the car made 535bhp & 525tourqe ATW :P Here is a link to the spec http://www.distinctivecarsmedia.co.uk/D ... ckcar.html

I am sure I have left some of the progress out but there is plenty left!

The end of last year all 3 of our Skylines made Fast & Modified magazine from Scotland here are a couple of my shots with the cars together and mine with it's all newly painted carbon bonnet!

Then it was the start of 2008 so new graphics and a whole new change of direction for me and the ca, Time Attack. I'd only ever done one track day before so wasn't expecting much. Our mechanic helped me with the setup of the car (he'd worked with James Thompson for years so has a very good racing background) TBH I was shocked with how the car went at Donnington, come sunday morning we had the fastest lap and was all set for the podium finish, I owe it all to the car though  Here's the car in TA round 1 Donnington....

Japanese Performance invited us to Jap Fest to put Keiko and the EVO 7RS on there stand, while down there we did a couple of demo laps for TOTB it was good to go on another track and helped me scruff the new Dunlop semi's in i'd bought my 18"s.
