if it were disposable income then I think Gareth would have 'had' the most disposable - he has fixed that now and bought a house so is now in the same boat as me and most othersturbomart wrote:dynamix wrote:yeah it looks like your car actually makes it on track Gareth ]RX7 wrote:Superb Dunk !!!!!

Maybe he and a few others haven't got the disposable income you obviously have Dunc, or its directed elsewhere! .....Just a thought:-D
I take it that bought = buying like myself and many others?.. unless he's really fortunate ! ....ALL I'm saying is that yes in the perfect world we would all be driving Porsche GT3's and use them every week on a track which they were 'designed' for!.. oh and a very understanding wifedynamix wrote: - he has fixed that now and bought a house so is now in the same boat as me and most others
I am not wanting to argue the point about what damage is done to cars when taking on track - that is your prerogative to choose not to. I do take mine on track. Many others do, but not everyone has to. The jibe at Gareth was simply that - a jibe which he understands and is long running - I fully understand how much effort he has put into his carturbomart wrote:I take it that bought = buying like myself and many others?.. unless he's really fortunate ! ....ALL I'm saying is that yes in the perfect world we would all be driving Porsche GT3's and use them every week on a track which they were 'designed' for!.. oh and a very understanding wifedynamix wrote: - he has fixed that now and bought a house so is now in the same boat as me and most others.....Unfortunately in the real world this is not the case for most people and we have to make do with car that don't take to kindly to constant abuse ......example - 25 mins on a track in my car equalled new disks, pads brake fluid and a misfire that took 2 months to sort out, but most of all it deprived me from using my pride and joy for 3 months......so for me yes I'm a little shy in putting my car through that too 'often.'
