mr impatient writing his evo off

Post by Tk »

had a crazy thing happen yesterday
i was in the astra van going to pick up the wifes focus after the new clutch was fitted , on the way there a few miles away from were the incident took place an evo7 came flying up behind me, anyway got to a junction/crossroads which is at an angle so difficult to see in a van with restricted vision so took my time to have a good look before moving out, mr impatient was reving his evo to let me know  anyway moved off and a car from other junction was inbetween us, i then turned down the road i wanted (which i know like the back of my hand due to living there for 25 years) cruising along like usuall then he apears in my rear view mirror like a man possesed after overtaking the other car. and at the bottom of a hill he overtakes me but the road narrows there and dont think he knew there was a blind 90 degree corner a few hundred yards further on , and yes you guessed it another evo only good for spares
the guy completely lost it locked up missed a telegraph pole by inches and into a ditch on its side.
such a waste of a lovely car

obviously i checked they were ok which they were but could have been completely different if a few inches over, i think the wing mirror clipped the telegraph pole it was so close

think the guy was a bit gutted to say the least and said it was my pride and joy and rarely use it , his mrs did not say a word
i know sometimes we all like a bit of spirited driving but he took the piss
i put this in members only just in case someone knows the guy and wouldnt like to get him in trouble with insurance or anything , i think he has learnt his lesson by writing his evo off
Small one's are more juicy

i would of made sure everyone was ok then i dont think i could've been that understanding with him, and told him he was driving like a twat behind me.
