I have used EBC Reds and Yellows now for the last 2 years.....
Yellows are in a different league and i find it hard to believe anyone would say Reds are better than yellows. I talk to the MD at EBC (Andy Freeman) now and again and met him on a few occasions. Very nice chap and very approachable, loves his motorsport, and even he will tell you the yellows are much better than Reds.
They recommend Reds as a direct replacement/slight upgrade to the the OEM Impreza pads, but always Yellow for hard use. I have had some yellows on the front now for about 6mths in daily use and reds on the back for a year. Prior to that i used only Reds and although i thought they were better than OEM i felt they could be even better still.
I will be switching to Yellows for the rear as they are far superior to the Reds. Not bad bite from cold either but much better once they are warmed up, and during hard use NO FADE!! In fact.....the more you abuse them the better they get. Jump on them a couple of times from cold and they'll be up to full operating temps pretty quickly. Very little dust and fairly kind to your rotors.
If they are fitted correctly and run in properly they will be excellent!!
Highly recommended!! :thumb:
Duncan....if you need any assistance with some pricing on group buys of EBC pads, let me know if i can help and i'll have a chat with Andy.

I started with Mintex 1144, they were not too bad, but very dusty. Changed to Ferodo Ds2500, again okay. I then and am still using Endless Y Sport pads on the front. Much better from cold than the DS2500's
Not sure what I will go for next. I will have GTR Brembos then and will need all new pads and maybe all new disks. I might be able to get the disks skimmed though

Unfortunately I don't know anything about the above listed pads. I have always used Project Mu's HC+1 from Japan. Don't know how they compare to the pads you guys have been using but I love them. When combined with my Project Mu SRC rotors they stop on a dime. They've saved my butt a couple of times from the cops on the Wangan in Japan. When you're going 250+km and have to slow to 80km in an instant, they get the job done.
Sorry if I went a little off topic.
