Pauter Rods?? not heard of these personally, why this route or have i had my head berried in the sand and missed them of the radar?

Just done a little research and seems like they have very good reports.

Is it staying a 2.5?

Have you sourced your clutch yet also just about to order a twin plate for mine.

Gerry where did you get your from for 700ish??

Andy Forrest runs them amongst other well known tuners in the subaru community and swear by them. They are as close to bullet proof as you can get and consistent from a build point of view.

yep - moving to a stroker kit would have dropped the rev limit even further and that would go against what I want. Shame though because there are not enough people running 2.7 or 2.8 subarus :D

I am planning to have this installed and run in by mid feb so that some testing can be done on track before the first event.

I think it was to do with the piston momentum and the longer throw crankshaft causing stress. They were only recommending a 7k limit.

No, not much :(

Events wise, I am hoping to get the main part of it all done and run in/mapped to do a track day at the end of feb but if not then Donny on the 14th March sounds like a good shake down/practice.
