Hello mate glad to see you made it on here.

Car looks great by the way

Post up a question about you handling woes and I'm sure the guys on here will be happy to help you!!

Just need to get you on the track now! Lisa is going to do the next Virgin trackday as long as I have a car.

Ps. thanks for coming to our reception at the weekend - get yourself a facebook account, there are some great drunken pics of us all on there and some Tills classics!! :-D

Thanks all !!
17replies straight off :o
where do i start !
i'll try and for sort out a scan from clives dyno when i speak to my bro next , i promise you i was as suprised i expected somewhere around 170-180 mark , its not shy on the road but its not that quick either , runs 15.8 on the quarter so consistantly it could run in the bracket racers class, would like to have a play on the track but i'm scared i'll bin it and its got handling woes (i'll explain soon)
A 79 mk1!!you were a brave man they rot like hell !!!(i'll try and post photos of the rear chassis leg of this car ) The G thang isn't too bad to do , you just have to chop the a section out of chassis to miss the serpant belt tensioner , and the pipe work what a nightmare !!! , yes i've uped the brakes 280mm g60 discs , on 16v master cylinder , new drums/ shoes on rear adjusted to the limit , there better than discs
hello again !! yes its muppet from dub gen ,or cherryblack from retro rides (gotta ask you some serious questions cos it don't handle right )
"rust is not a crime(if you own a mk1 gti)its away of life"
12 hour days i wish try 6 till 2000
HI rob thought you were on honeymoon? let me know the next virgin trackday i maybe interested number 2 worry after bining my own car is collecting someone elses 8-[ ,
You mean tills being :isgay:
Its on my list of things to do honest!
