Dear Toyota Enthusiast,

We are currently developing a new and exciting championship called
Toyota Sprint Series.

Our first event is at Barkston Heath in Lincolnshire on the 20th October, and we would like to invite you to compete or spectate.

This is a one off event this year which will lead to a multiple round championship in 2008.

The Toyota Sprint Series has been formed out of obsession for Toyota cars and motor sport by Barry Cross and Adrian Smith who share the same passion. By teaming up with track day expert

This was a great first event or the series. even if the weather was poor.

The venue at waterbeach was very challenging, in fact the day before the sprint, lots of time was taken just to sweep the track of all the gravel.

Over 40 competitors entered the first round, although a few of the big power cars were missing and the 5 cars from toyota GB.

There was everything from a huge, very sideways Big lexus to a tiny Argo which did very well.

Next event is the May bank holiday at Barkston Heath, where the tester event was last year.

Its a very friendly series where the emphasis is on a balance between professionalism and fun. :)

Is it friendly enough to allow a few Subarus in? :D
