Does anyone know what sort of pump the supercars have for the cars to get over speed humps etc?
Is it some sort of air pump run off the engine and then connected to the suspension arms?
I think i may have to look into sorting something out for my car with the latest batch of aero mods!!
Only other option is a couple of planks of wood in the boot!
Lifts for cars?

i think the supercars are either pnuematic or hydraulicly operated, i have seen the guys with the show cars with a little compressor at the front, with a reciever in the back, with the airbag suspension.
i dont really like the compressors they use they look cheap and horrible, and this guys reciever didnt have a drain valve and you could here all the water sloshing around.

They all use the same system from Sachs - it is a hydraulic ring fitted in the damper top, raises the spring platform. Very expensive and part of the sachs shocks. Optional on Lambos and Paganis.
Only raises the car by 15mm, and only for use below 10mph. Got a catalogue somewhere but they are not for sale aftermarket. The only way I can think of getting any is to buy a set of Lambo shocks (or piece together a set from a pair of crashed Lambos) and then get a sachs suspension specialist to revalve them to suit your car.

Cheers Rob.
Thats out of the question then!
I was thinking of getting two small airbags and rigging them up onto the suspension wishbone so when they are empty they have no effect on suspension at all and when needed could pump them up with a small compressor to raise the car.
Would be a lot of hassle though.
Oh well, couple of planks of wood it is!!
