Hi Duncan.
The compay that are doing my cage:
S H P Motorsport
Unit 7,
Faraday Road
Littleport
Ely, Cambridgeshire
CB6 1PE, United Kingdom
Phone Number: 01353 861168
They will build the cage to what ever spec you want, but are very dubious about building anything that they feel will not offer real protection.
My original plan was a semi weld in using a really neat part they have developed, its basically a solid piece of tube that is sectioned with two bolts holding it together. This gets away from the scaffold flange type joints found on most bolt ins. However The design I wanted was not feasible in bolt in format, hence this cage is full weld in.
Roll Cage + Strip Club.
From what I've read Gerry, the blue book stipulates the tube type, dimensions of the metal tubing and the general design with lots of do's and don'ts. The FIA and BS stuff come in once you're competing above a certain grade, as far as I know
Dunk- as for you supporting local firms  You get Tescos to deliver your groceries FFS

No I dont Stu. Rachel gets delivery from Sainsburys but we use our local butcher for literally all of our meat and a local baker for bread. I cant stand Tesco's.stuartstaples wrote:From what I've read Gerry, the blue book stipulates the tube type, dimensions of the metal tubing and the general design with lots of do's and don'ts. Did it have a cage in at the 30-130?
Sunny has been involved in some big projects over the years weired looking 4x4 and racing trucks.
