.... there must be a way. In any case i suppose he doesn't need the extra business as when i spoke with him he did say that if it wasn't this Thursday i would be waiting 2 or 3 weeks so he must be pretty stacked up, and perhaps he doesn't need to give discounts as he is so busy

i have used zen a few times now for mapping, and think they are very good. i have used a nother well talked about speclist, and found them to be cheaper in pricebut no where as good as zen, so in the new year i am going to get my headers fitted by them.
they are not the closest place to me (a good hours drive) but worth it.

I had a great day out at Zen Performance today. They popped a decat uppipe on despite the slight uphill struggle with dismantling certain components such as headers, uppipe, EGT and Lambda sensors, which had never been taken off the car since new and were literelly welded on. With great care however and some rather large grabbers and a blow torch they managed to win in the end but the job took about 2.5hrs longer than originally quoted.
Without hydraulic ramps, some specialist tools and and an extra pair of hands i would seriously have struggled to do this in a day on my back, and some of the hassles that cropped up would of caused me serious grief, so i am very pleased i got them to do the job.
The cool thing is the young mechanic there didn't mind me chatting to him and asking questions as well as watching very closely what he was doing whilst on the job ( i'm always learning and enjoy doing so ), and he seems a very proficient mechanic for such a youngster (ex-Mitsubishi Technician).
I was quoted ex-amount originally for the job, and it came to
